![]() ![]() The rear supported by my arms and shoulder with elbows on the table. Forty and 30 yard shots were made off a less stable platform comprised of two small portable tables. Fifty yard shots were fired off a stable platform with the front supported by a bipod attached to the forearm (not the rail). Shooting was done in the morning and evening so sun position varied. Wind speed was approximately 0-5 mph and in the location I was shooting was variable. At this point I've shot a total of 49 arrows out of it. The bow performed consistently and almost flawlessly to this point in time. I also verified marking on the attached HHA to insure they didn't vary after shooting from one distance and then another and then back to the original distance. In an attempt to determine if the POI changed according to the power setting the scope was set at I shot at 3X and 9X at 50 yards. I also tried a new to me broadhead (the Tekan G5-T3) at 50 yards to make a preliminary assessment of it's accuracy. If I wanted a a deadly weapon that shoots like a gun and feels like an AR I would just leave the barrel on my AR and pop a 30 round clip in.I put a new PSE branded scope on my Tac Elite and spent the last couple of days zeroing it in and observing the performance of the new bow. I own AR-15 rifles and I for one am in no hurry to use this thing if it were gifted to me. And just 15 days before their decision is going to be made for crossbow inclusion. Good job PSE This thing is plastered all over the boards including PA. Or they are trying to crush the market for crossbows for good and stick to vertical technology. Or they think if they really make the crossgun it will be so appealing everyone will have to have it. I can only draw a couple conclusions from this looking at it from a marketing standpoint. Now they turn around and let this cat out of the bag while PA and MI are about to accept inclusion. PSE has gone very aggressive with the vertical line as of lately producing one of the fastest compounds on the market. PSE currently carries how many crossbows? 2 that I know of and one of those is made in Taiwan. At least those bows were beautiful works of art and workmanship. NOT a good job PSE.Īnd you guys thought the Talisman bows were a bad rap. i don`t know where the line is, maybe in our moral. you can carry a small ballista for hunting but we have to draw the line. it is wider than most of vertical compound bows height! it is my opinion. they are the best but not with that width. i think excalibur has the best durability and quality. horton is a good example how to deal with them. vertical archers would be laws would be tougher etc. we have competitons since 1364.they are medieval but shoot 200+ metres with small trajectory. in genova, san marino and here in croatia in pag. it would have little longer lever on trigger and that is it.) very strong crossbows exist. triggers sure would not present problem with modern materials such as titanium.( even i can make primitive variant of such modern bow. we can use mechanical cocking devices to cock them. i think people don`t understand that crossbow industry can produce bows above 500fps. that speed pumping is in process some time. Click to expand.exactly what i first thought! now it is crossgun but it is not just PSE. ![]()
